Room 15 - The Solar System

The girls and boys in Room 15 have been working hard on The Solar System. While learning about the planets, we incorporated 3D shape in Maths to design and build our own rockets during our art lessons. We enjoyed singing along to 'Space Oddity' performed by astronaut Chris Haffield. In History, we learned about Yuri Gagarin, Valentina Tereshkova and the moon landing. We even prepared questions for Irish astronaut, Norah Patten before she appeared on the Toy Show!
